  • Highest axis accuracy, even with increasingly tight tolerances

  • Excellent repeatability, even for difficult measurement tasks

  • Measurement of form, position, roughness, contour, and lead in a single measurement cycle

  • Intuitive-to-use MarWin measurement and evaluation software, proven over many years

  • T7W inductive probe system with motorized swiveling probe arm included in the measurement station package

MarSurf MC 510

Measuring roughness in the machine tool

X

MarSurf MC 510

Mahr now offers an innovative automated solution for measuring surface roughness on workpieces directly within the CNC machine tool. To achieve this, the MarSurf MC 510 measuring device is fully integrated into the tool holder, where it performs measurements using a vibration-resistant, tactile skidless system – in compliance with standards and with high precision down to Rz 1 μm.

Advantages

• Automated process
for fast measurement of surface parameters

• Precisely reproducible measurements
without operator influence

• Insights into tool wear,
leading to reduced tool costs

• Protected against contamination thanks to robust construction

• Flexible machining processes
through direct control and measurement data output in NC code

• Wireless communication
with Edge PC

• OPC UA Interface
and closed-loop-ready

• Fully automatic and reliable documentation
of surface parameters without expert knowledge

MarSurf SD 140 BG 12

Compact surface metrology

X

MarSurf SD 140 BG 12

The MarSurf SD 140 BG can measure both roughness and contour features – all in a single measurement run. The measuring station offers ease of use combined with reliable quality assurance thanks to its high functionality. This makes it an ideal entry-level model for stationary surface metrology.

Advantages

• Measure roughness and contour in a single run

• Tool-free probe arm quick-change function

• Electronic probe arm detection

• Automatic probe force selection

Defined starting position with aligned axis
